1964-1966 C10 Truck Trim Molding, c10
Comes with template that is designed around the original
hole locations of my truck.  This will be an excellent guide for
stud locations if yours is a little different.  I didn't use double sided tape,
but it would be a great way to hold the trim on and make for an easier install.
The double-sided tape acts as a cushion, so you will
not hurt your high dollar paint job.  3m makes it in .025" and .045" thickness.

I recommend
mocking this lower door trim
up to the
upper trim pc. to get the
tightest fit possible.
I left some
 length on the end for
sanding/ filing.
 (When I say some
 length, I mean roughly 1/32")

All Stainless hardware included with a
 few extra fasteners. When installing
the 10/32 studs into the threaded holes,
be careful not to bottom them out
against the back face. If you do, it
will distort the front of the trim.  The best
method is to use red Loctite and install the
studs finger tight and let set overnight.

Pre sanded to 180 grit
as part of my inspection
process, but it still needs finish sanding
before polishing.  Most people will
continue to 240 then on to 320 and 600 grit, or
even finer depending on your
 pre-buffing strategy.

Repeatable contours are machined
on back and front of these cab
pieces for unsurpassed fit. These
pieces are the only ones that are not on the
template, but they are easy
to mark their location after
aligning with door and bed trim.

Each piece is marked on
the back for location and orientation
This matters because hole location is different
from side to side, and the template
is laid out to match that. Orientation of the text
represents topside. Can also be installed using
double sided tape, but keep in mind the tape has a thickness
that would cause trim to stand off the truck around 1/16"

I've made some tooling to get
repeatable precise bends
in the lower door trim. It also has
curvature to fit the contour
of the door. (See red marking in picture).
